Dana White responds to Conor McGregor calling out the UFC for ghosting him

Last Saturday in Saudi Arabia, UFC legend Conor McGregor called out Dana White and the UFC for not even staying in with him. After USADA left the organization, there was a sense of relief from fans who hhave been urging Dana White to give Conor McGregor a new fight. But since that happened, the Irishman hadn't even gotten a message from the UFC President in regards to his next event. Amid UFC 300 about to happen in early 2024, McGregor did call out Dana White and said he was feeling disrespected. As a result of this, the two of them reportedly met in Dubai last Wednesday to talk things out.

It all happened during an Instagram live Dana White did in order to talk to the fans. He talked about both Conor McGregor and the event. Teasing he would announce more fights soon, he said: "I talked to Conor today. I'm in Abu Dhabi right now, Conor's in Dubai. We talked tonight. He and I will get something figured out soon. We're talking. I did announce [some] fights [for] UFC 300. I told you, there's more coming this week. You guys are so aggressive. There will be more fights for 300 announced this week. I'll have a bunch more this week for 300 to let you guys in on. Not the main event, I won't have the main event yet. Waiting on the main event."

Michael Chandler mocks Conor McGregor

Throughout last Thursday, Michael Chandler wanted to chime into the whole drama with Conor. He specifically said that McGregor no longer deserves to get any fight he wants. However, he did it in a way that made him seem like he still wants to fight McGregor no matter what. The last time Conor fought was when he fractired his leg during the fight against Dustin Poirier in 2021. Since then, he hasn't stepped on an octagon at all. However, McGregor did earn his jiu jitsu black belt in the process and has kept on training hard.
