- UFC. Conor McGregor gives fans hope after releasing a recent and grueling training video
- UFC. McGregor vs Chandler at UFC 303 is on: June 29, it's happening
It's not that UFC president Dana White hates the press, but he really loves messing with their minds. His heated exchanges and snaps against multiple reporters have been documented over decades, there are only a couple of journalists he can't stand. One of them is the 'MMA Hour' founder Ariel Helwani, Dana is on record saying some of hte most offensive and aggressive stuff anybody has ever seen. But perhaps the best representation of Dana White's disdain for the media just came on the 'Fight Inc.' docies that just came out. On that same film, Dana White breaking the news of his tendon tear to Jon Jones was very interesting to see.
Fight Inc. documentary is not flattering for Dana White
Amongst other moments in the documentary released by Roku and the episodes are electrifying. There are multiple moments that are worth taking a look at simply because it's behind-the-scenes stuff that will make the audience like they are a fly on the wall. From Dana White's interactions with former president Donald Trump and actor Mel Gibson. To Daniel Cormier perpetuated hate against Jon Jones, there is a lot to take from this. But one of the most interesting bits was a clip where Dana White expresses how much desdain he has for the media. There are very few mainstream media outlets Dana White tolerates but it's safe to say he dislikes them all.
The UFC has proven to not need from the mainstream media outlets, it's become it's own thing with it's own set of rules. Dana White has made sure he builds a media apparatus formed by his own communicators and filmmakers who can bring an incredible product to the fans. So technically, Dana White's hate towards the mainstream media will never cease to exist. But in general, White is resepctful with reporters an journalists who attend his events and just bans those he doesn't like.
