Following his recent public spat with Oscar De La Hoya, UFC president Dana White has now directed his criticism towards the Top Rank CEO, Bob Arum. Ahead of the much-anticipated Alex Pereira-Jiri Prochazka rematch headlining UFC 303, White sat down with Oscar Willis to discuss various topics within combat sports.

The conversation, initially focused on the UFC event, soon shifted to boxing, where White did not hold back his opinions on Bob Arum.

White began by expressing his respect for Turki Alalshikh, praising his efforts in elevating the sport through innovative and high-profile fights.

However, the conversation took a sharp turn when Willis asked White about the perceived shortcomings of traditional boxing promoters compared to the new approaches in sports management.

White's respect was limited to Arum's longevity and work ethic, criticizing him for allegedly focusing more on personal profit than the sport's development.

"He (Bob Arum) has f**king nothing," White noted.

"He's created nothing. Always just f**king stripping money out and never invested back into the f**king sport."

Addressing the future of boxing

White continued, arguing that figures like Arum had the chance to improve boxing but failed to do so due to a lack of vision.

"You could have f**king fixed it," he added.

"You had no f**king vision for the sport; you had nothing. You're not as smart as you think you are, Bob Arum."

White's comments are part of a larger discourse on how combat sports are managed and promoted. While White has consistently pushed for innovation and growth in mixed martial arts, he views traditional boxing promoters as impediments to the sport's progress.
