Israel Adesanya is experiencing difficult times, both in the UFC and in his private life. The New Zealand fighter with Nigerian roots, who lost his UFC middleweight belt to Sean Strickland last year, was submitted by Dricus Du Plessis in a new title fight a few weeks ago, which has put his future in doubt.
However, the fighter has been in the news this time for an altercation with a fan in the middle of the street in New Zealand, where he had a hook-up before getting into his car.
In a video recorded by a third person, you can see how the fan annoys and berates Israel, and what at first is answered with a simple "fuck you" from the fighter ends up being a "go away before I beat you up".
Adesanya confronted in New Zealand
Unfortunately, the video is cut off before things escalated, so it remains to be seen what happened afterwards.
It is clear that in this case the provocative attitude has the citizen, who as seen in the video does not stop rebuking a Adesanya who paid little attention at first, even laughing at how he raised his arms trying to show off his biceps.
However, after a spit from the fan the New Zealander said enough and went after him. "I dare you to try," Adesanya can be heard saying to him.
