Ya se va acercando la Navidad y con ella el maratn de partidos. Para mi equipo, el Sunderland, se presenta el mes clave tras caer en la ltima jornada ante el Tottenham. Una derrota donde la mala suerte nos volvi a jugar una mala pasada. Nos adelantamos en el marcador, pero luego nos empataron y, posteriormente, un compaero dio la victoria a los visitantes con un gol en propia puerta. Es nuestro via crucis partcular esta temporada, porque es el quinto as este ao. Sin este gafe tendramos ms puntos en el casillero, por lo que nos toca pelear en estos das ante rivales directos para acercarnos a la salvacin, empezando este fin de semana ante el West Ham. En el vestuario creemos y estamos seguros de que seguiremos en la Premier un ao ms.
Y mirando a Espaa, que os puedo decir de Osasuna. Vibr en la Copa del Rey viendo el empate de mi ex equipo ante el Mlaga. Dejaron claro, una vez ms, que este equipo es una familia y nunca arroja la toalla. Cuando iba perdiendo 3-0 seguro que muchos ya daban por defenestrado a los rojillos. Yo no, por supuesto. Porque en este equipo yo he vivido cosas muy grandes y no me sorprendi su reaccin. Es cierto que con el 3-2 y la expulsin de Loe pareca que se acababa ah el partido, pero Osasuna volvi a tirar de garra y cosech un empate increble. Enhorabuena.
Adems, esto supondr un empujn de moral de cara al partido ante el Real Madrid. Desde luego que no va a ser un trmite como el partido de Champions ante el Copenhague, con los blancos ya clasificados. Los de Ancelotti saben de sobra como se sufre en El Sadar y el sbado no va a ser una excepcin. Los rojillos llegan motivadsimos y les van a poner las cosas muy complicadas. Adems, los navarros tienen urgencias y puntuar es vital, as que espero un gran encuentro. De hecho, creo que si los navarros se acomodan en mitad de la tabla pueden centrarse tambin en la Copa y ser una de las sorpresas torneo. Es lo que quiero y lo que deseo.
Tambin quiero expresar mi ms profundo rechazo a los incidentes acontecidos en Brasil. Es deleznable y vergonzoso ver imgenes as. Parece increble que el ser humano, si se les puede llamar humanos, pueda realizar actos de este tipo. Adems, creo que cuando ocurre en un campo de ftbol la repercusin es mayor y sensibiliza mucho ms a la gente. De todas formas, creo que aqu en Inglaterra, Espaa, Alemania, Francia, Italia..., la seguridad y el control es mucho mayor y sera complicado que ocurriese algo as.
An as creo que este hecho no debe alarmar tampoco a la gente. Brasil est realizando un esfuerzo tremendo de cara al Mundial y pienso que la seguridad en el torneo va a estar garantizada, tanto del pblico como de los equipos participantes. El ambiente seguro que ser de festividad y alegra y lo ocurrido entre el Atltico Paranaense y el Vasco de Gama no se volver a repetir. Ha sido una alarma y se pondrn soluciones. Eso al menos es lo que quiero creer.

Christmas is approaching and a whole marathon of games with it. For my team, Sunderland, this month will be crucial after the defeat against Tottenham. A defeat in which our bad luck came back again. We were leading the match, but then they scored the equalizer and then, a mate of mine gave the victory to the 'fows' with an own goal.
It is our personal via cruces this season,it is the fifth own goal this year. If this hadn't happened perhaps we could have more points right now, but as we couldn't get them we must now fight to avoid relegation, starting this very weekend against West Ham. We all believe that we can maintain Sunderland in the Premier next year.
When it comes to Spain, what can I say about Osasuna? I vibrated with the Copa del Rey watching them coming back against my ex-team Mlaga. They proved once again that this team is a family and will never surrender. When they were losing 3-0, I'm sure lots of people thought they were dead. I did not, of course not. Because in this team I've experienced great things and their reaction did not surprise me. It is true that with the 3-2, and the red card for Loe, it seemed that the match had ended, but Osasuna kept on fighting until scoring the equalizer in an amazing draw match. Congratulations !
More over, this would be a significant moral push towards the match against Real Madrid. This match will not be the same as in Copenhaguen for Madrid, who were already qualified before starting the match. Ancelotti's boys know how one has to suffer in El Sadar Stadium and this Saturday will not be an exception. The little reds will be highly motivated and they are going to complicate things for Real. Brazil will enjoy a happy and cheerful atmosphere, and what happened between Paranaense and Vasco de Gama won't happen again. It has been an alarm and they will provide solutions. At least, it is what I hope.
