Jake Paul can't help himself after Canelo Alvarez "ducks" him and exposes his hypocrisy

Canelo-Paul was seemingly a lock just a day ago, but it has officially been considered dead on arrival.

This week has been nothing short of surreal for Canelo Alvarez and his fans. A potential fight against Terence Crawford at some point this year was all but confirmed; in fact, it practically was confirmed. On Wednesday, though, the fight was called off. Then came the mayhem, as rumors ran rampant that Alvarez had a fight with Jake Paul almost fully set.

Even Matchroom Boxing chairman Eddie Hearn said it was "done", and ESPN's Mike Coppinger said it was being finalized. That didn't even last a day, as the Canelo-Paul fight is done and dusted, and Alvarez now has a four-fight deal with promoter Turki Alalshikh. Now, the Crawford fight is back on the table for September.

Jake Paul exposes Canelo Alvarez in explosive rant

While announcing the new roap, Alvarez took a shot at Paul in a video exclaiming that he only fights "real fighters", while calling him a YouTuber. Paul has wasted no time hitting back at Canelo, exposing him by claiming that they had a contract signed and posters ready to announce the fight.

Paul also calls out Turki Alalshikh, opining that he only stepped in at the last minute to avoid the boxing world seeing Alvarez fight a YouTuber. He then calls Alvarez greedy and "disloyal", while calling him a "puta" several times.

This surely won't be the last time we hear and see Alvarez and Paul going after each other. A bout between the two could still theoretically happen at some point, although it doesn't seem likely until after Alvarez's four fights.
