F1 returns to one of its most iconic circuits in history. The premier category of the World Motor Racing Championship will land in Monaco for the second consecutive race weekend. After a Grand Prix in Emilia Romagna, in which the 'old continent' welcomed the sport, the Monaco GP will be the one to continue the European tour on the eighth date of the calendar

Another victory for Max Verstappen, his second of the season, at the Imola circuit, left things even closer between the three drivers who continue to reign this season. Despite his victory, the current world champion remains in third place with 124 points, while Oscar Piastri, with his third place at the Italian circuit, continues to lead the category with 146 points, followed by Lando Norris with 133 points.
George Russell is in 'no man's land' after failing to keep up with Max Verstappen and the 'papaya' at the top of the standings. However, the Briton maintains a strong distance over the two Ferrari drivers and his garage mate Kimi Antonelli, who did not enjoy a positive race at 'home'.
Similarly, for the Spanish drivers it was a weekend with many ups and downs. Carlos Sainz Jr., after qualifying in sixth place, had to settle for eighth place, which puts him in 11th position overall. Meanwhile, Fernando Alonso, after qualifying in fifth place, crossed the finish line in 11th position, very close to the points.
