The World Health Organization (WHO) is the main body tasked with dealing with the coronavirus and it has announced two new symptoms.

This is in addition to the previously listed symptoms of fever, dry cough, tiredness, aches and pains, sore throat, diarrhoea, conjunctivitis, loss of taste or smell, rashes, difficulty breathing and chest pain.

Now, "loss of speech or movement" are also listed as potential symptoms, under the serious symptoms category.

"COVID-19 affects different people in different ways," the WHO has reminded people.

"Most infected people will develop mild to moderate illness and recover without hospitalisation."
