Kate Middleton and Prince William like to do all they can to fly under the radar whenever they are visiting the school that their three children currently attend together.
William and Kate are very hands-on parents by royal standards and like to do a lot of the day-to-day parenting by themselves, but that comes with certain considerations given their immensely high profile.
Lambrook School in Berkshire is where the three children are currently schooled, and parents will be used to seeing the Prince and Princess of Wales picking up the kids and attending school events.
Richard Palmer told the i newspaper that William and Kate are "keen not to make life difficult" for their fellow parents at Lambrook, and will even sometimes indulge in things like requests for photos.
A security system in place
He also explained that there is a discreet system in place to stop any parents crossing a line around the young royals.
"At Lambrook School in Berkshire, where all three children are pupils, discreet security is in place to protect them but that does not stop the occasional rogue photographer turning up or parent publishing pictures on the internet of George playing football," the expert said.
Apparently, William and Kate are taking security costs into consideration when it comes to choosing which school George will attend next when he is too old for Lambrook.
"I think Kate and William are very conscious of how much it costs the taxpayer to guard them - guard not being the exact word - but to kind of give them the security which they absolutely have to have," explained Ingrid Seward to The Mirror, editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine.
"To have three different schools in three different parts of the country, I think would be very difficult."
