Disney is renowned worldwide for its six theme parks around the world. However, they have in mind to launch a new one in a totally innovative location, in Abu Dhabi, as announced by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. It is not yet known when it will open or when it will be completed
The project will go hand in hand with Miral, the leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi, together with The Walt Disney Company. The location for the new theme park will be Yas Island, one of the most extravagant places in the United Arab Emirates. Disney will bring creativity, attractions and operational oversight. Yas Island will Disney's theme parks in California, Florida, Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Jaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, communicated the creation of the new Disney theme park: "The development of this project reflects the importance and global prestige of the country. The creative and cultural economy has become a key pillar to drive economic diversification and GDP growth."
"What we are creating with Disney in Abu Dhabi is a whole new world of imagination - an experience that will inspire generations from across the region and the world, creating magical moments and memories that families will cherish forever," he added.
In the same way, and to conclude, the chairman of Miral, Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, spoke about the contract between Abu Dhabi and Disney: "It demonstrates the extraordinary results of combining visionary leadership with creative excellence."
