Entering Game 5 of the World Series the big question was if the New York Yankees could maintain their good rhythm offensively and stay hot with the bat to try and for a sixth game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The answer came in pretty quickly. In the bottom of the first inning after Gerrit Cole retired the first three batter of the game in order and with one away, Juan Soto drew a walk and then came Aaron Judge.

He had been very quiet with the bat, but he got a fastball in the zone and then he just destroyed the ball to right field to put the Yankees on top 2-0 and give the New York hope to fight for another day.

The bat continued to sound

Right after Aaron Judge came up against Jack Flaherty, it was the time for Jazz Chisolm Jr. and he continued the trend. He got a fastball low and inside and he just demolished it to right field as well.

The solo shot capped off a back-to-back first inning home run combo that set the tone. But that was not all. After the Yankees got another run in the second, one more player had to the party.

In the third inning, it was Giancarlo Stanton who also hit a home run to left and the lead was 5 to 0 as Flaherty was no longer in the game and the Yankees were in control, the question remains if they can win once more.
