The NFL Draft is slowly keeping closer as football fans eagerly anticipate where the next generation of talent will be heading off to, and as far as it goes for Shedeur Sanders, there could be two leading options as the 22-year-old quarterback reveals who he's talking to.

Lots of teams are desperate for a quarterback in this draft from April 24-26, such as the Tennessee Titans and Las Vegas Raiders but so far neither of them are on the immediate radar of the Colorado Buffaloes' star as he explains he's looking at New York and Ohio.

"30 visits start like March 4," Sanders said of how busy he's going to be, as per ESPN Cleveland. "Browns. I got the [Cleveland] Browns then the [New York] Giants."

Sanders spent the last two seasons playing as the lead QB for the Buffaloes and in the 2024 regular season, led the Big 12 conference in ing yards, ing touchdowns and completion percentage on their way to the Alamo Bowl.

Why the Browns or Giants?

Cleveland has a reputation for being one of the worst franchises in the sport and a borderline hopeless immediate future considering the woes of the controversial Deshaun Watson, who they signed to a $230m contract.

Despite the big money, the man accused of sexual misconduct has rarely played for the team and is often out injured. He could even miss the entire 2025/26 season after injuring himself again whilst already sidelined.

So they need a QB after cycling through their rotation to little success last time out, finishing 3-14 in the AFC North. And they could face tough competition from the New York Giants, who are in a similar spot.

The Giants are hunting a new quarterback after parting ways with Daniel Jones following another situation where they paid big money for their play caller, only for him to be unable to live up to the expectations.

Likewise, the team finished bottom of the NFC East with a 3-14 record. They also have Malik Nabers and more money to make them a more enticing prospect than the Browns.
