Deion Sanders is the man in charge at the Colorado Buffaloes, and every player on the team is well aware of that fact.
Despite that, he is able to have a playful relationship with some of his players, and one of them has been Travis Hunter.
The Heisman Trophy winner has recently explained how his jokes and pranks with Sanders have reached a new level, with Hunter even stealing from Sanders as a joke.
Speaking on The Travis Hunter Show recently, he provided some context as to how their friendship plays out.
"I gotta outdo coach Prime. So I got the Heisman trophy he don't. He got that gold jacket. I need to get that gold jacket," Hunter said.
Then, he went on to explain that the pair like to go fishing together on occasion and that is where Hunter's latest prank played out.
"I went to his house the other day to pick up my boat. Bro don't tell him dog. Nobody snitch on me. I stole some bait he would never know they gone... I stole some bait from him. I took two fishing poles for him they were on my boat so obviously they Mine if they on my boat but they his because they were right hand," Hunter said with a smile on his face.
Hunter ready to be drafted
The pair won't be working together much longer, with Hunter destined for the NFL.
In a move that has sent shockwaves through the football world, the NFL has officially listed Travis Hunter as both a wide receiver and cornerback for the draft. This designation cements the Colorado Buffaloes player's status as one of the most unique and versatile prospects in recent memory.
His ability to excel as both a receiver and a cornerback has set him apart from his peers and made him a hot topic of discussion among scouts, analysts, and fans alike.
The decision to list Hunter as both a WR and CB is a testament to his exceptional skill set and the impact he can have on any team.
