NFL teams have already begun voluntary workouts for the 2025 season, and new Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer has made a strategic move with the mission of strengthening the locker room.

Schottenheimer plans to establish order and discipline in his first year at the helm of the Cowboys, and within his first decisions he moved Micah Parsons' locker to be close to Dak Prescott, with the idea of strengthening the team's leadership, implementing competition between two of its figures to challenge each other.

Micah Parsons is still in the negotiation stage to sign a contract extension to rival the deals that Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb secured last season.

"Well, I think Dak should have been the MVP last year. Putting all that aside, if you look at the stats and everything he did and accomplished, a team that made the playoffs with a 12-5 record... didn't have a Triple Crown defense... by the way they analyze Dak... his defense let him down. We got 30 points, we couldn't stop the streak. So was it really Dak's fault?" Micah Parsons commented
