Another Saturday night, another high-level UFC event. The MMA behemoth continues to deliver, and UFC 302 doesn't look like it will be an exception.

Headlined by Islam Makhachev and Dustin Poirier going to war for the UFC Lightweight Championship, the main card also features Sean Strickland taking on Paulo Costa in what should be an explosive co-main event.

Early prelims will get started at 6:30pm ET, followed by the prelim fights at 8:00pm ET and then the main card beginning at 10:00pm ET. The PPV price for the main card is $79.99. The event will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

UFC 302: Makhachev vs Poirier LIVE: Get every detail of tonight's UFC fight

That will do it for our live coverage of UFC 302. It was certainly a fun and action-packed card, culminating in a Main Event that lived up to the hype. Until next time!

Makhachev says it's time for a new challenge. He wants to move up to 170 pounds for his next fight.

Nothing but respect from Makhachev for Poirier, who calls him a "legend" of the sport.

Islam Makhachev wins by submission against Dustin Poirier

The defending champion shows his class against a resilient and tough Poirier.

Round 4

Now Makhachev is bleeding profusely! On to the final round we go. Poirier likely needs a huge round to come away with a win.

Round 3

Makhachev has opened up Poirier and really showed off his elite ground game in that round.

Round 2

A fantastic Round 2 from both fighters. What a Main Event we have on our hands!

Round 1

Poirier escapes the round after Makhachev had him in an unenvious ground position for most of it.

Sean Strickland defeats Paulo Costa by split decision in co-main

A crazy 49-46 scorecard for Costa wasn't enough to take the win away from Strickland. He's now 29-6.

Round 5

Sean Strickland comes alive at the end of the fight, and that should do it for the 33-year-old!

Round 4

Good bounceback round from Costa, but Strickland is still in control as we enter the 5th and final round.

Round 3

A solid round from Strickland, who has likely won all of the first 3. Costa needs something big in Rounds 4 or 5.

Round 2

Many thought Costa and Strickland would come out swinging, but it's been a chess match to this point. Not many big strikes so far.

Round 1

Costa did a ton of damage with leg kicks in that round, but Strickland was able to land good shots towards the end of it.

A fight that some people are more excited for than the Main Event. Sean Strickland vs. Paulo Costa.
