There is a video running around with Tom Aspinall talking about his very own Mount Rushmore of the UFC, his picks will not be the ones that Jon Jones probably would like. For the longest time, the GOAT conversatuon has had multiple names in the mix. Although Dana White has constantly stated that Jon Jones is the greatest, the entire UFC community does like to think otherwise because there is one specific UFC legend that a lot of folks consider better than Jon Jones. In a promotional video, Tom Aspinall was asked about his own UFC Mount Rushmore and you can't help but think that he didn't pick Jon Jones simply because he is the next target on his mind. Watching Tom Aspinall being honest about this only makes us think about the list of the best fighters in MMA history. Surely, many of us would pick one over the other. When you are talking about the all-time greats, taste is all that matters, at the end of the day. Tom Aspinall fans often wonder if their faorite fighter in the UFC will ever get a chance to be part of this exclusive list of fighters. If he does, that means he was able to defeat Jon Jones for the undispted UFC Heavyweight belt.
So in this video, Tom Aspinall decied to choose his Mount Rushmore of MMA fighters and he didn't pick Jon Jones in No. 1. For the Brit, Frenchman Georges St. Pierre takes the top spot in his own Mount Rushmore. He does place Jon Jones in second place despite his multiple attempts to fight him. In third place, Aspinall chose Demetrius Johnson. And the fourth spot was tough but he did choose Khabib Nurmagomedov.
