Deion Sanders Jr. gives Giants, Browns hope in race to draft Shedeur: Is completely lying

Deion Sanders Jr. slammed claims that his brother will refuse to play for either the Cleveland Browns or New York Giants as he leaves the door open for Shedeur to choose the path that feels right for him.

The 22-year-old threw for 35 touchdowns and almost 4000 yards in the ongoing NCAA season and is expected to be one of the premiere quarterback picks in the NFL Draft from April 24-26, 2025.

And two teams who need a QB are the Giants and Browns, who struggled with Daniel Jones and are struggling with DeShaun Watson respectively, so they are expected to be in the market for a new starter.

However, Sanders has also been linked to the Dallas Cowboys and Las Vegas Raiders in attractive propositions that could immediately hand him control of the ambitious franchises looking to trend up rather than maintain their status quo.

In light of that, an on X.com (formerly Twitter), called NFL Rookie Watch, claimed that the Colorado Buffaloes' quarterback would refuse to play if the Browns or Giants picked him up and this is something his sibling fiercely shot down.

"Bro is completely lying about everything he just tweeted," Sanders Jr. posted to Elon Musk's social media website in response. So it can be expected that Shedeur won't try to pull an Eli Manning anytime soon.

Shedeur cozies up to Giants star

Shedeur is expected to be a first-round pick along with Travis Hunter, his Buffaloes colleague who just claimed the Heisman Memorial Trophy on Saturday, December 14 and he doesn't seem to be that picky about who he is selected by.

The youngster was spotted recently playing catch with Malik Nabers, the Giants' rookie, hinting that his final destination could actually be the MetLife Stadium to replace the axed Daniel Jones.

Meanwhile, Hunter has been linked to the Jacksonville Jaguars after starring as their wide receiver and cornerback throughout 2024. He made a total of 14 touchdowns from 92 receptions, as well as 31 tackles and 11 deflections.
