Colorado Buffaloeshead coach Deion Sanders has had a very busy off-season after his team lost the Valero Alamo Bowl 36-15 to the BYU Cougars.
While the main storyline is which NFL teams are going to draft Colorado's superstars Travis Hunter (a wide receiver/cornerback that won the 2024 Heisman Trophy) and Shedeur Sanders (one of the best quarterbacks in the country and possibly the No. 1 pick in this spring's draft), there's another topic that's red hot.
Is "Coach Prime" leaving the Buffaloes and take a head coach offer in the NFL? Sanders has said in multiple occasions that he's coming back to coach Colorado for the 2025 season, although anything can happen between now and the start of the college football campaign.
Brie Bella reveals that Sanders was her first celebrity crush
Meanwhile, Deion Sanders is enjoying his time co-hosting the Tubi talk show "We Got Time" along Rocsi Diaz, where they discuss the latest news in culture, entertainment and sports. They also conduct interviews with celebrity guests.
On the most recent episode of the show, Sanders and Diaz got to talk to the Bella/Garcia Twins, former WWE women's tag team champions and TV celebrities.
Rocsi Diaz asked them about their crushes before they became famous and Brie Bella had something to say about Deion Sanders. She mentioned the fact that, back in middle school, her first celebrity crush was "Prime Time", even though that got her into some family trouble.
"It was you Deion, you were my first celebrity crush." Garcia itted. Sanders got up from his seat and hugged the former wrestler as he responded "You should have told me that."
"I was looking through a box of my childhood photos because I'm like 'I need to find the picture of me in Deion's jersey but my grandfather, full blooded italian from South Philly, so we're diehard Philadelphia Eagles fans and it was very hard on my family because they're like 'wait, she has Deion Sanders' Dallas Cowboys jersey". Garcia stated.
She added that the fact that Deion Sanders was her celebrity crush could have gotten her kicked out of the house and of her family. She didn't mind, though, as she had a poster of the former NFL player on her wall, along with the pictures of singers Gwen Stefani and Shania Twain.
So what was it about Sanders that made him crushable? "You kind of had that bad boy attitude." said the TV personality, to which "Coach Prime" agreed as he's recognized as one of the most talented and confident players in the NFL back in his day.
