- NCAA. Rough fight between Jordon Hudson and Bill Belichick's ex, Linda Holliday, at party comes to light
Bill Belichick and Linda Holliday officially parted ways in September 2023 after being together since 2007. Holliday, who had been active on Instagram and often shared images of her time with Belichick and the Bill Belichick Foundation, had gone silent on social media since March 2023.
Her last post featured Belichick with recipients of the foundation's scholarships - a program she helps lead as its president.
Their separation came ahead of Belichick's final season with the Patriots, which concluded with the announcement in January 2024 that he and Patriots owner Robert Kraft had agreed to part ways after 24 seasons together.
Holliday's journey before and with Belichick
Before her time in the public spotlight as the partner of one of football's most accomplished coaches, Linda Holliday had a successful career in the medical technology field.
She studied Radiography at Vanderbilt University from 1984 to 1986 and spent over 15 years selling medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners and MRIs.
In a 2022 interview with Boston Common magazine, Holliday reflected on how her career before entering the world of sports media was often overlooked.
Holliday began her role as a correspondent for Style Boston in 2009 and stayed involved in the show over the years. Through her media presence and philanthropic work, she carved out her own identity - even while consistently being linked to the Patriots' head coach.
Belichick and Holliday began dating a year after Belichick's divorce from Debby Clarke. While the two never married, they were inseparable in both public appearances and private endeavors. Their close collaboration on charity efforts, such as the Bill Belichick Foundation, highlighted their deep bond.
However, in 2023, that chapter came to a close. While neither party publicly addressed the breakup, insiders told PEOPLE that tensions had been brewing long before the news broke.
"Bill is all about football and very busy now. He doesn't want a lot of public attention on this," one source said. "He has a lot on his plate, a good family, and he meets people all of the time."
Interestingly, another insider shared that Belichick had purchased a home in Jupiter, Florida - Holliday's home state - and originally intended for both of them to share it.
