Travis Kelce's next move: Coaching, podcasting, or Hollywood? Andy Reid weighs in

Travis Kelce, one of the NFL's most electrifying tight ends, might just have a future on the sidelines once he hangs up his cleats. As the Kansas City Chiefs prepare for their fifth Super Bowl appearance with Kelce on February 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles, his coach, Andy Reid, has already started envisioning what life after football could look like for the star player. Spoiler alert: it involves a whistle and a playbook.

Reid, who has seen Kelce evolve into one of the league's most dominant players, recently shared his thoughts on Kelce's potential as a coach. Speaking on The Herd With Colin Cowherd, Reid didn't hold back his praise. "Travis would be a heck of a football coach," Reid said. "He's able to get up there and explain things and teach these young guys exactly what he sees and feels... He's got a good feel for the game." It's no secret that Kelce's football IQ is off the charts, and his ability to read defenses and make clutch plays could make him a natural fit for coaching.

But don't think for a second that Kelce is slowing down on the field. Reid made it clear that the 34-year-old tight end is still at the top of his game. "He's still a really good football player," Reid said on The Pat McAfee Show.

"He keeps himself in great shape, never wants to miss a rep in practice, hates coming out of the game-I mean, absolutely hates coming out of the game. I love that part of him." Despite defenses scheming specifically to stop him, Kelce continues to be a game-changer for the Chiefs.

Jason jokes he'll be Travis' Offensive Line coach if needed

Off the field, Kelce's future looks just as bright. Alongside his brother Jason Kelce, Travis co-hosts the wildly popular podcast New Heights, which recently landed a massive nine-figure deal with Amazon. The brothers have become media darlings, and Travis has even dipped his toes into acting with a minor role in Happy Gilmore 2.

But when it comes to coaching, Jason Kelce-who recently retired from the NFL-jokingly offered his services. "If he needs an Oline coach, I'm available," Jason tweeted, proving that the Kelce brothers' banter is as strong as their football knowledge.

For now, though, Travis Kelce's focus is squarely on helping the Chiefs secure another Super Bowl victory. But whenever he decides to step away from the game, it's clear he'll have plenty of options-whether it's coaching, podcasting, or even Hollywood. One thing's for sure: Travis Kelce's next chapter is going to be just as exciting as his current one.
