There is no hiding the fact that Tyreek Hill will be looking for to make an even bigger splash during the NFL season. He is one of the most explosive players in the league and nobody can deny his talent on the field with a Miami Dolphins team that is still looking to make an impact when in the playoffs and go deep to try and win a championship ring.

However, things could change soon in South Florida. Hill is 30 years old and even though he might have not lost a single step, a quest for an eventual lucrative and long-term deal is on his mind and it will be complicated to get.

Many young receivers are getting their fare and share of money and in the competition that will pile up soon, it will be tough for Tyreek to stay in that conversation. That is what "Pro Football Talk" NFL analyst Mike Florio believes. "He's almost been caught by Nico Collins now," Florio said. "He's been sured by Amon-Ra St. Brown and AJ Brown. He's going to be blown out of the water by Justin Jefferson," he said.

It is true that he had a massive 2023 year, gaining 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns, that should be enough to get a good deal in Miami or somewhere else, but there is always the thought that there is a younger generation that is performing at a high level already.

The problem for Tyreek Hill could come from within the Dolphins organization

While Tyreek Hill is looking to have another stelar performance in 2024, especially because in 2025 he could get cut if there are any problems money wise in Miami. Those problems may be because of a deal to secure Tua Tagovailoa at the quarterback position but also because of another wide receiver that just got paid.

Jaylen Waddle just signed a three-year $84.75 million contract with $76 million of those green bills guaranteed. This means Waddle will average about $25.33 million a year, putting him in the top five of highest paid receivers in the league. All this will not make things easier for Hill to remain with the Dolphins after 2025.
