Ja'Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson were the top receivers in the NFL last season, but A.J. Brown is clear on one thing: That's about to change. Injury issues aside, the Philadelphia Eagles' star receiver knows he's better than his biggest rivals.

If the Eagles' Super Bowl LIX win showed anything, it's that quarterback Jalen Hurts has a top-notch receiving corps. DeVonta Smith stole the show with four catches, 69 yards, and a touchdown, but Brown's three catches, 43 yards, and a score were vital to the win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brown's numbers were modest this season, with 67 receptions, 1,079 yards, and seven touchdowns. However, it should be noted that the Eagles star missed four and a half games due to injuries, and he is convinced that, other than that, he is the best receiver in the NFL.

A.J. Brown's modesty

On the Feb. 23 episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game, Brown showed his respect for Chase and Jefferson by recognizing them as the best in the NFL. "If we want to talk about top receivers in the league, I'm definitely going to say Justin Jefferson, Ja'Marr Chase, then I put myself third."

However, Brown noted, "I put myself third now even having the [Super Bowl] ring cuz you just got go off what happened this past year. I was banged up, and I missed four and a half games and my numbers were right with them until the end."

Respect for Chase and Jefferson doesn't affect the Eagles champion's self-image. "Personally, speaking to myself, I definitely feel like I'm the best in the league right now," Brown said.

What do the numbers say?

Ja'Marr Chase was the best receiver this season with 127 catches, 1,708 yards, and 17 touchdowns. Justin Jefferson wasn't far behind, with 103 receptions for 1,533 yards and 10 touchdowns. Brown, on the other hand, was 37th in receptions and 17th in yards gained.

However, Chase's Cincinnati Bengals didn't even make the playoffs, and Jefferson's Minnesota Vikings were eliminated in the Wild Card Round. Brown may have fallen behind in the statistics, but he has a championship ring to back him up, and he knows it.
