- NFL. Shiloh Sanders life off the field sparks Buccaneers meeting to talk about it
It doesn't stop happening even in athletes' houses! Let alone one in which there are five brothers: Competitiveness is not something that will be out of the question in the Sanders family household.
Deion, not only coaches the Colorado Buffaloes, but is the father of Shedeur, Shilo, Deion Jr, Deiondra and Shelomi. And while the first two have already ed their respective squads - Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers - that wouldn't be the only thing.
But with Shilo and Shedeur having gone through their on-field demands while suiting up for the Buffs, Coach Prime is not above playing the role of father and former coach. The elder of the two, he confessed that their father calls them periodically to check in on them and is aware of their schedules.
While live streaming via Twitch, the NFL Hall of Famer called Shilo. After suggesting that he was the one in the "Best Son" position, Sanders asked him: "When was the last time you bought me a present?"
Shilo quickly shot the question back, but his father argued: "I just built a big, dern beautiful room for you, which you streamed in last time you were in Texas, did you tell them about that?" began Sanders and added, "You got a football field downstairs, a tennis court, a basketball court, you got everything right here."
Despite the former Colorado jokes that they used it "for entertainment" because it was "family," Deion cleared his doubts by saying, "I invested in you, so you can enjoy that."
Coach Prime is in every detail
After the talk, Shilo demanded that his father go to breakfast with him and have him face-to-face, to which Deion argued that he had to get up earlier for him to go.
Despite the attempts of the former Buffaloes to defend himself, explaining that he arrives even an hour earlier to the team's facilities, his father's response was more than enough to know that he is still his father, who has known him all his life, and a coach: "You know I got the report. I know what time you're supposed to get up, you do know that, right?"
Although Coach Prime's behavior and advice may seem a bit boring to his son when he said he should have the consistency to be "the one that wakes the rooster up to tell him to say cock-a-doodle-doo," having these values could benefit him and get him looked upon favorably in his journey with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
This is in addition to Shilo's recent accomplishment, who recently earned his master's degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Colorado.
For the Bucs, this not only demonstrates his commitment to physical growth, but also shows that the safety is looking to expand his mind as well. In addition to the advice he receives from his father, Shilo is looking to shine on his new team.
