Spain v England
Updated

Hello and welcome to this MARCA in English live blog where we will be taking you through the Euro 2024 final between Spain and England.

Luis de la Fuente's men have been the most impressive team at the tournament so far, finishing with a perfect Group B record despite going up against the likes of Croatia, Italy and Albania. They continued their strong form in a romp over Georgia, while victories over hosts and have them within touching distance of a fourth European Championship triumph.

On the other side, England are looking to lift the Henri Delaunay Trophy for the first time. Their only major men's trophy came in the 1966 World Cup, and as a result many are wondering if football is finally coming home in Berlin on Sunday.

The journey hasn't been a straightforward one, as Gareth Southgate's men were less than impressive despite topping Group C over Denmark, Slovenia and Serbia. They followed that up with a last-gasp extra-time comeback victory over Slovakia, while penalties were needed to send Switzerland packing in the quarter-finals.

However, a strong showing against Netherlands in the semi-finals means England's senior men's team will compete in a major tournament final on foreign soil for the first time.

Stay tuned to follow the action, which gets underway at 21:00 CEST.
