When it comes to fantasy football, choosing the right quarterback can make or break your season.

Patrick Mahomes behind-the-back to Travis Kelce

While big names like Patrick Mahomes and Dak Prescott might be tempting, they're not necessarily the best picks for your fantasy team.

Here are five quarterbacks who could give you the edge you need to dominate your league.

1. Jayden Daniels

Projected Draft Position: 12th Round or Later

Jayden Daniels might not be the first name on everyone's list, but he's a sleeper pick with serious potential.

Over his last three college seasons, Daniels racked up over 2,700 rushing yards, including more than 1,100 in his final year at LSU.

Plus, he's entering the NFL as a more polished er.

Pair that with Terry McLaurin in Kliff Kingsbury's Air Raid offense, and you've got a QB who could far outperform his draft position.

2. Justin Herbert

Projected Draft Position: 10th Round

While the Los Angeles Chargers have added some serious running talent, they're still heavily invested in Herbert as their franchise QB.

There's talk of introducing some designed runs into the playbook, which could boost Herbert's fantasy value.

If other managers in your league are sleeping on Herbert, you could snag him at a great value.

3. Kyler Murray

Projected Draft Position: Round 9

Kyler Murray might have faded from the spotlight, but don't let that fool you.

Although injuries have hampered his recent performance, there's renewed optimism for Murray this season.

With more than 18 months to recover from an ACL tear and the addition of Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Arizona Cardinals' offense, Murray could easily find his way back into the top 10 fantasy quarterbacks.

4. Anthony Richardson

Projected Draft Position: Round 7

Anthony Richardson's rookie season was cut short due to injury, but the flashes of brilliance he showed are enough to make him a solid pick this year.

While sharing the ground game with Jonathan Taylor might limit his rushing opportunities, Richardson's ability to lead the Indianapolis Colts' goal-line carries gives him a high upside.

If he can improve as a er, a top-five finish is well within reach.

5. Kirk Cousins

Projected Draft Position: Round 12

Kirk Cousins might not be the most exciting pick, but sometimes the best options are the ones you stumble upon.

The injury risk is real, especially for a 36-year-old quarterback, but with his low draft cost, Cousins could be a steal if he returns to form.

If you're looking for a solid, late-round pick with upside, Cousins is your guy.
