The protestor from the Super Bowl LIX half-time show has been banned for life from NFL venues, after unveiling a flag raising awareness of the atrocities in Gaza and Sudan during Kendrick Lamar's show.

A masked man briefly went unnoticed standing atop of a car with a flag of the Middle-Eastern and African nations, bearing the names of the countries with a heart next to them, before later being spotted by security.

A small chase then ensued before he was detained by local law enforcement and removed from the Caesars Superdome on February 9, as it later emerged he was on of the back-up dancers in the show who opted to use his rare moment to send a message.

He will not be allowed back to NFL games, nor allowed to enter stadiums in the future, but escapes any kind of prison sentence or jail time for his pro-human rights actions.

The story of Gaza is well known after the microstate has spent over a year being on the end of a military operation by Israel, who have been accused of committing genocide and failing to do enough to protect innocents.

Over 67,000 women, children and civilians have been murdered by the United States-backed Israel Defense Force and some 2.3 million people have been forced to abandon their homes creating one of the most devastating humanitarian crises since World War II.

Global protests against Israel's bloodlust have been common, especially after the nation also invaded Lebanon and Syria too. The prime minister of the nation, Benjamin Netanyahu, is currently wanted by the International Criminal Court for alleged crimes against humanity.

What is happening in Sudan?

Because Palestine and Gaza has dominated headlines since the conflict began on October 7, 2023. what is happening in Sudan has slipped largely under the radar of the western media as a result.

But the nation, to the south of Egypt, has been locked in a civil war since April 2023 and has led to as many as half a million people being killed and some 8.8 million people forcibly displaced from their homes. 3.4 million have become refugees seeking help.

The North Darfur region is currently in a famine and there have outbreaks of nasty diseases such as measles, cholera and diarrhea throughout the country. According to the World Health Organization, 80% of hospitals in conflict zones are now unusable.

A recent incident in the Um Kadada locality from January 25-26 found 25 bodies in a grave to the south of a village, as well as additional fire damage to the region as per the Centre for Information Resilience. The number of dead could be as high as 150.

It's thought the attack and deaths came after the Rapid Forces threatened to attack the El Fasher city if the Sudanese Armed Forces didn't surrender.
