- UFC. Conor McGregor raffles off his stunning green Lamborghini Urus to fans for just over a dollar
- BKFC. Conor McGregor s BKFC as a promoter, how much of the company does he own?
In recent days, Conor McGregor became part owner of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, he is now a combat sports league owner. As you also may know, McGregor currently has an ongoing contract with Dana White's UFC. This kind of smells like a conflict of interest for the UFC president but how does he really feel about it? We already know how complicated negotiations can get with Dana White, he keeps a close look on all his business and always makes decisions thinking about the benefit of the company. There are no fighters who are considered bigger than the entire company. However, there is always one athlete that eventually becomes bigger than the sport itself.
This could be the case of Conor McGregor, who completely transcended borders with his demeanor and star power. Currently, he owns multiple ventures and recently bought a stake in BKFC. He made the announcement through his social mediaas he struck a deal after sponsoring the sport through his other ventures. But there is a good chance that people are worried about Dana White's take on this new venture Conor McGregor got himself into. Especially with the Irishman's repeated attempts to become a stake owner in the UFC and being ignored every single time. This could be a small clue to what might be happening behind the scenes.
What would Dana White say?
Dana White can't really complain about Conor McGregor becoimng a part owner of the BKFC for one specific reason. If he remains with a contract at the UFC, the amount of income coming to the UFC is still in the millions for as long as Conor remains associated to the company. What ever he accomplishes as a BKFC part-owner shouldn't affect his deal with Dana White. Plus, the president did ignore McGregor when he publicly stated he wanted a seat at the owners' table.
