Caitlin Clark has already begun to make history on the court with the Indiana Fever, but her connections off the court, particularly with global music icon Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, have also generated considerable attention. So will the iconic couple head to the WNBA to watch her?

The 24-year-old's meteoric rise in basketball has been one of the most closely followed stories in sports and the star has already claimed a new record in 2025 by becoming the first WNBA player to put up at least 25 points and 10 assists on more than five occasions.

It was her sixth game out of just 42 and it saw her eclipse Sabrina Ionescu to claim the honor, meaning Clark is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down as she chases her first ever championship.

Yet this time, eyes turn to her celebrity friends as fans ponder whether Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs' Travis Kelce will head to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse to watch her compete. And now the Fever sensation has an answer.

Game Recap: Sky vs. Fever (5/17/25)

"Oh, gosh. I don't know. I mean, I hope so," Clark said to USA Today. "They're on a nice 'in-vacation mode' right now.

"So, I hope they enjoy a nice little break out of the spotlight. But, I'm sure they'll be cheering for the Fever either way."

The relationship between the two women first caught national interest during the 2025 NFL playoffs, when the WNBA ace was seen alongside the pop star at a Chiefs divisional round matchup.

The then-defending champions defeated the Houston Texans that day, but much of the social media buzz revolved around them sharing a suite and enjoying the game together.

However, their paths crossed long before that appearance at the Arrowhead Stadium as Kelce revealed the two met at Swift's Eras Tour stop in Indianapolis back in November when it stopped at the Lucas Oil Stadium.

"Saw Caitlin Clark there," Kelce said in November. "Got to meet Caitlin. She's awesome. She loves being out there in Indianapolis. Says it's a fun city.

"And we're both just true Midwesterners to the heart. You know, played high school ball, college ball, pro ball, all out here in the Midwest, and it was cool catching up with her."

Their good-natured acquaintance isn't just one way traffic on the end of Clark either. The 35-year-old Grammy-winning singer previously made clear her iration for the Fever talent and sent her several bags of merchandise from her tour along with a handwritten message.

Who do the Fever play next?

The Fevers won their opener against the Chicago Sky before coming undone against the Atlanta Dream on May 20 so they will be keen to put the first loss of the season behind them.

They will next look to do so on Thursday, May 22 when they take on the Dream again at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Tip-off is from 19:30 ET/16:30 PT.
